Harcourt Trophies Teacher's Edition, Kindergarten Level is published in three volumes. Each volume covers four themes which span 3 weeks each. Complete daily lesson plans are provided. Trophies is a research-based, reading/language arts program featuring an organized, direct approach to teaching skills. The program emphasizes phonemic awareness; systematic, explicit phonics instruction; decoding skills; high-frequency words; and comprehension skills.
